Eliud Kipchoge “No Human Is Limited”

On Saturday 12th October 2019, Eliud Kipchoge ran into history by becoming the first man to achieve the barrier-breaking sub-two-hour marathon as part of the INEOS 1:59 Challenge. Vienna came out to witness history being made with an estimated 120K spectators lining the course to support Kipchoge, as well as his world-class team of 41 pacemakers, featuring some of the best athletes on the planet. The 34-year-old Kenyan ran the 42.195KM distance in a staggering time of 1:59:40.2 to secure this landmark achievement. It was a performance which perfectly encapsulated Eliud the man – calm, consistent, patient and totally unflappable.
